What are the differences between Display Campaigns and Search Campaigns?
Both Search Campaigns and Display Campaigns are key components of Google Ads, but they address different marketing needs:
- Search Campaigns focus on capturing users actively searching for solutions through the Google search engine. They are ideal for direct intent, such as “buy running shoes online.”
- Display Campaigns target a broader audience and aim to generate interest by showing visual ads to users while browsing online. These campaigns are excellent for branding, awareness, and reaching users in the early stages of their buying journey.
For example, while a Search Campaign targets users ready to purchase, a Display Campaign builds interest by showing ads to users not actively searching for your product.
